Evan Yarbrough is a professional illustrator, storyboard, and fine artist living in Savannah, GA. His love of film and illustration has offered him the unique privilege of working on amazing projects with outstanding filmmakers, production houses, and ad agencies. 

The thing I love most about storyboarding is seeing the reaction of the writer and director when they see the characters and frames of the story physically realized by my hand. It’s a special process that no one else in a production gets to share, and it’s very special to me.

Working with talented cinematographers has upped my game so significantly because of the way they understand getting framing and light perfect in one shot, and it’s my job to give them the tools they need to be ever better at theirs, so that shared knowledge has been supremely appreciated.

I’m an art director as well, so I’m always ready to add any creative input or feedback to the projects I work on. I’ve gotten better over the years at knowing when to step in and when to keep my mouth shut, but I always try to elevate anything I’m working on in any way I can.
